If you had previously purchased The Elder Scrolls Online on Steam and want to link your Steam account to your ESO account, follow the process below:

As for myself, I was able to de-link and re-link the same Steam account without any issues. If you are trying to change accounts, you can look at my latest response to them on what I would do to resolve this issue.

The online capabilities that come with this and ST (Skyrim Together) make this a must buy with friends though it's still a work in progress. (90/100 because its a sad remaster made for Bethesda's cash cow, with no real effort put in to improve it.).

Check your Steam version of ESO

Before you can link your accounts, you need to ensure you have the right Steam version of ESO installed.

  1. Log into Steam and click the Library button.
  2. Right-click on The Elder Scrolls Onlineand select Properties.
  3. Selectthe Local Files tab and check Current Content Build IDat the bottom of the page.
    • If the version isnot equal to or higher than '1380321,' you will need to delete and reinstall the game first.
    • If the version is equal to or higher than '1380321,' you can skip down to the 'Link your ESO and Steam accounts in game' step below.


Uninstall and reinstall your local Steam version of ESO

If you do not have the right version of ESO installed on Steam, you will need to delete and reinstall it.

  1. From the Steam Library, right-click on The Elder Scrolls Online.
  2. Select Delete Local Content to uninstall your current (out of date) version.
  3. Reinstall the game fresh by selecting ESO from the Steam Library again and selecting Install.

Link your ESO and Steam accounts in game

Once you have the correct version of ESO in Steam, you can then link your Steam account to your ESO account.

  1. From the Steam Library, select The Elder Scrolls Online and press Play.
  2. Allow the ESO Launcher to open, download and apply any required updates, and select Play.
  3. From the in-game login screen, select the 'I have an existing PC/Mac Elder Scrolls Online account' checkbox.
  4. Input your ESO UserID and password and select Login.
  5. Select Accept on the link confirmation window.

Your Steam account will now be linked with your ESO account! You can now log into the game and play by simply launching the game from your Steam Library.

Note: If your version of The Elder Scrolls Onlinewas not purchased through Steam, you will not be able to link your Steam account to your existing ESO account without purchasing a new copy of the game on the Steam platform first.

To update your payment information, such as credit card expiration, you will need to first cancel your existing ESO Plus membership to remove your current billing information. This will not interrupt your current membership, all remaining game time currently on your account will remain valid and usable. Once your current ESO Plus membership expires your new membership plan will take effect.

Please note, if you have ESO Plus through Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Steam your payment information is managed through those platforms, not through your ESO account. The links below lead to instructions for managing subscriptions for each platform.

  • Xbox One (Microsoft)

To cancel a recurring membership for PC/Mac not on Steam, please follow the below steps before next billing cycle begins: Netspot crack.

  1. Log into your ESO account: account.elderscrollsonline.com.
  2. Select Manage Membership under the 'My Account' section at the left-hand side.
  3. Select Cancel Membership and confirm by pressing Please cancel my membership.
  4. A banner will appear at the top of the page to confirm that the recurring membership is no longer active.
  5. You will also see that your Account status changed to 'Cancelled.'
  6. You will receive an e-mail from The Elder Scrolls Online confirming the cancellation.

Runway 1 9 – full featured diagramming app. Once this is done, you will need to set up a new membership with your new payment method:

  1. Go to Manage Membership on your account profile page.
  2. Select Setup your recurring membership.
  3. Choose the membership plan you would like to use.
  4. Enter the details for your desired method of payment.

This new membership plan will replace your previous membership.
